Design Inside Film welcomes you to a cinematic architectural short film about a hidden paradise in the heart of Saint-Tropez designed by internationally acclaimed interior designer Stéphanie Coutas. This project masterfully blends the historic charm of Bastide – a century-old Provençal farmhouse with modern quite luxury living. Stéphanie Coutas showcases her masterclass in timeless beauty.

„What touched me immediately was the soul of the place — its history rooted in the vineyards, the quiet elegance of Provence, the authentic stones that had witnessed generations,” says Stéphanie Coutas. „I wanted to give this old farmhouse a second life, to preserve its heritage while weaving in my own language of contemporary refinement. The story I wished to tell was one of timeless conviviality: a family home where nature, art, and craftsmanship are celebrated in harmony.”

Here, luxury is quiet, deliberate, and deeply felt. “Peaceful luxury is about restraint. It is a form of elegance that doesn’t need to shout — it is felt through proportions, materials, the flow of light, and above all, comfort. Traditional opulence often relies on accumulation and grandeur; for me, true luxury is measured in serenity, in the ability of a space to bring calm and beauty to those who live in it.”

The country house is about 650 m² and sits on over half a hectare of land, which includes 4,000 m² of vineyards. It is located just a 5-minute walk from the center of Saint-Tropez village.

The property features 7 suites, a 40 m² gym with vineyard views, a marble hammam, a cinema room, and a wine-tasting area with cellars that feature the estate’s own wine. It also includes both indoor and outdoor kitchens, several outdoor dining areas, a 100 m² heated swimming pool, and even a pétanque court right at the edge of the vineyards.

“Every home should be a sanctuary. Beyond aesthetics, it must offer comfort, joy, and protection. A place where one can recharge, celebrate, and simply be. Home is where memories are made — it should embrace those who live in it with warmth and elegance”,
says Stéphanie Coutas.
