The heritage townhouse is located in the heart of Brussels. It offers a charming blend of historical elements and contemporary interior design. The furniture, carpets, lamps and textiles was designed by Isabel Gómez exclusively for this projects. This tailored approach ensures each piece perfectly complements the home’s look and feel. The result is amazing thanks to the freedom to choose the materials, colours, shapes, and finishes that suit well to the heritage townhouse’s aesthetic. The building itself is Art Nouveau. The style which was born born at the end of the 19th century, characterized by organic forms. However, Isabel’s interior design contains a lot of art déco allusions. The Art Déco is one of the most distinctive styles thanks to its far-reaching influence across time. Every year, Brussels holds a festival celebrating its turn of the century architectural heritage which is called the BANAD (Brussels Art Nouveau & Art Déco Festival). It takes place during weekends in March and focuses on promoting these both styles.
