AUDE HERLÉDAN

Design Inside Film meets prominent french painter and sculptor Aude Herlédan. She lives and works in Paris and Sologne. Her artwork is represented by '1831 Art Gallery’ in Paris and other international galleries, including the 'Rosenberg & Co Gallery’ in New York. We had the pleasure to become familiar with her paintings and sculptors and also to discover how she collaborates with some of the top interior designers and art collectors from all over the world. Aude’s artwork is harmonious, elegant, graceful – an appealing combination of finesse, temperance and spontaneity which brings a sense of individuality to the interiors. For her, the art in interior design goes far beyond decoration. It is a medium for self-expression, infusing space with personality and authenticity. Aude Herlédan was born in Paris. She grew up in Africa. Returning to Paris in 1992 she designed campaigns for major international brands as creative director in an advertising agency. Alongside, she studied at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Paris and art history at the prestigious École du Louvre. Aude is an avid traveller. She has many sources of inspiration, her curiosity is aroused by everything from discovering new cultures to literature, cinema, music. Aude Herlédan and her husband Jean-Louis Herlédan have founded an art gallery, which is located in Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris. The gallery named ‘1831 Art Gallery’ maintains a collaboration with a large international network of art and design professionals, architecture studios and interior designers.
