Design Inside Film meets Isabel Gómez, award-winning interior designer and founder of Emotional Luxury®. Isabel’s trademark is bold, versatile, and sophisticated design. We explore her latest project in Brussels. Brussels is a bustling city, known for its cultural heritage and stunning townhouses, called „Maison de Maître.” These have recently experienced a resurgence in popularity. The tall, narrow buildings open directly onto the street. The plot sizes are always very small, similar to old Amsterdam. The facades and interiors are richly ornamented. Isabel Gómez had the opportunity to rescue one of these. It was in very poor condition. She restored some of the original details and lovingly combined old and new. For her, it was crucial to respect and preserve the history of the house, built in 1899, while simultaneously creating a new, modern, comfortable, and luxurious environment. The result is impressive.
