Design Inside Film meets Isabel Gómez, award-winning interior designer and founder of Emotional Luxury®. Isabel’s hallmarks are bold, splendour and sophisticated interiors. We explore her latest project in Brussels. Brussels is a bustling city, well-known for its cultural heritage and stunning townhouses called 'maison de maître’. In recent times, they enjoyed a new popularity. The tall, skinny buildings open directly onto the street. The plot sizes are always very small, similar to old Amsterdam. The façades and interiors are richly decorated. Isabel Gómez has an opportunity to save one of them. It was in a very poor condition. She restored some of the original details and lovely combined old and new. She wanted to respect and preserve the soul and the history of the house which was built in 1899; at the same time, to create a new, modern, comfortable and luxurious environment. The result is impressive.
