Design Inside Film meets Marta Matelier to explore her interior design of a late 20th-century semi-detached townhouse. The project beautifully reflects the atmosphere of interwar Warsaw modernism, standing as a prime example of architecture and design worth preserving for future generations. Notably, the residence was honored by WhiteMAD magazine as the Best Residential Project in Poland. Marta Matelier is a Polish interior designer, artist, and art advisor. Her boutique studio specializes in high-end residential and custom commercial spaces. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Marta creates projects that mirror the unique character of their inhabitants. Driven by an immense respect for history, she is deeply fascinated by art, color, light, craftsmanship, and contemporary design. To ensure every space is truly unique, she paints original pictures and creates custom sculptures that seamlessly integrate into the interior’s history. For Marta, a home is never merely a stage for decoration – it is a living portrait of the person who resides there.
